A secret terrorist cell was identified in the 7th penal colony of the Trans-Baikal Territory, its organizers and participants were detained in several regions of the Russian Federation, write RIA Novosti is related to the Federal Penitentiary Service (FSIN).
The Russian Ministry shared detailed information that a group of prisoners from Correctional District No. 7 of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation in the Trans-Baikal Territory established a cell of an international terrorist organization banned in the Russian Federation to promote its ideology.
They pointed out that employees of the Federal Penitentiary Service and the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia prevented the activities of seven members of the conspiracy organization, whose organizers and main participants were detained in Dagestan, the Trans-Baikal Territory and Krasnodar, as well as in the Volgograd Region.
