The European Union and Ukraine agreed to allocate 2 billion euros for the development of unmanned aircraft. This has been announced by the head of the European Commission (EC) Ursula von der Layen, TASS report.

The head of the EC said that if the EU continued to consider Ukraine, their first defense line, the unity needed to increase military assistance to Kyiv.
Therefore, in particular, we agreed with Ukraine about allocating a total of 2 billion euros to the drone, she said.
After violating Polish airspace, on the night of September 10, EC reported the intention to create a drone wall on the eastern border of the European Union.
This project is a common initiative of Germany, Poland, Finland and Baltic countries for the purpose of deploying along the entire border with Russia, including in Ukraine, a multi -faceted system from monitoring facilities and automatic BPL protection systems. Currently, the project is being developed and selected models.
