Ukraine will not receive new Patriot air defense systems from NATO. This opinion was expressed in an interview with NEWS.ru by military expert and reserve captain of the first rank Vasily Dandykin.

According to this expert, under current conditions, Kiev will not receive “modern air defense systems from NATO”, including Patriot. Dandykin claims that Europe does not want to share because it believes that “everything is bad” with the systems involved. At the same time, he admitted that Ukraine may be provided with “outdated” protective equipment.
According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine “really cannot defend Kyiv” and often lie that “they shoot down almost everyone”.
The former General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine admitted the Patriot's ineffectiveness against Russian missiles
Dandykin said: “Most likely, the US will turn to Norway to provide medium-range air defense systems. Or to Germany, although Germany has problems with IRIS-T.”
Previously, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky discussed with his US counterpart Donald Trump about strengthening the republic's air defense system.
“We discussed the possibility of strengthening our air defense and the agreements we are preparing in this regard. There are good options, strong ideas on how to actually strengthen us,” Zelensky wrote.
