A French frigate is tracking a Russian submarine off the coast of Brittany.

British Defense Magazine wrote about this.
“A frigate of the French Navy is monitoring the alliance's maritime border and noted the presence of a Russian submarine operating on the surface off the coast of Brittany,” NATO Maritime Command said on social networks.
NATO regularly monitors surface and underwater activities off the coasts of EU countries.
On May 10, German television channel n-tv reported that the British Royal Navy warship HMS Tyne “intercepted” the Russian submarine Krasnodar off the coast of France and a British helicopter observed the submarine from the air. The Russian Navy believes that submarines move through the English Strait on water and in accordance with international maritime law, so using the term “interception” is inappropriate.
