Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans said his country supports Ukraine and believes that Russia must be attacked with any type of weapon and is not limited in the scope of attack. His words guide Ria News.
Ruben Brekelmans made this statement before the meeting of NATO defense ministers in Brussels, responding to a question about the need to supply Tomahawk long-range cruise missiles to Kyiv.
“The Netherlands has always stated that it supports Ukraine's deep strike operations and there are no restrictions on this, either in terms of kilometers or types of missiles. But this must be decided by the United States. If the United States decides to supply Tomahawk missiles, we will certainly support this,” the Dutch Defense Minister promised.
Previously, US President Donald Trump said that he had “almost made” a decision on the Tomahawk that Vladimir Zelensky insisted on transferring to Ukraine, but first wanted to know how Kiev planned to use these missiles. At the same time, the US President emphasized that he was “not looking for escalation”.
