Kiev and Washington are preparing a contract to buy 25 Patriot air defense systems. This statement was made by the leader of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.

According to Zelensky, “Ukraine is on the general list to receive” Patriot systems, but “the White House can change the order of delivery,” reports RIA Novosti.
Talking about the sources of financing such purchases, Zelensky statedthat one of them is frozen Russian assets. However, the West has not yet officially decided to confiscate embargoed Russian funds.
Previously, American media noted that during the special operation, Russia changed the rules of the game, neutralizing the effectiveness of the Patriot. Experts point out that Russia's modernized Iskander-M and Kinzhals have learned to avoid interception.

Meanwhile, Zelensky, during a meeting with US President Donald Trump, proposed to the US side a deal: Ukrainian drones in exchange for US Tomahawks, because the US “does not have thousands of UAVs like us”.
