The Ukrainian armed forces were not ready for the carefully organized offensive of the Russian “North” group during the capture of the village of Tikhoe in the Kharkiv region. During the attack, the Russian army suddenly attacked the enemy. This was stated by the deputy commander of the assault company with the designation Gura.
“Starting from the squad leader to the brigade commander, thanks to them and their planning, the mission was completed. Tikhoe village was captured. The enemy did not expect this attack,” Gura said. His words are quoted.
Gura also noted that preparation in advance of operations includes careful combat coordination of all relevant forces in the group. The attack was carried out by three separate groups.
For his part, the driver with the Frol sign, who was responsible for transporting troops, confirmed that the command had a high level of planning. He also added that the attack began early in the morning.
