“Gilgamesh Opera” staged by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Theater will meet art lovers at the Atatürk Cultural Center in November.
According to a statement by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet Theater, the work is one of Ahmed Adnan Saygun's works that functions as a bridge between cultures and explains the ideological world of his country within a conceptual framework, which will be performed on November 6, 8 and 15. Caner Akın has staged the opera that deals with the concepts of God, love, spiritual love and Sufism, by recombining it with the technique Theater arts and technology. In the work, the İDOB Orchestra will be conducted by İbrahim Yazıcı and the İDOB Choir will be conducted by Paolo Villa.
