Drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) are trying to attack the Saratov region. SHOT Telegram channel reported this in consultation with local residents.
According to eyewitnesses, at around 01:00, loud explosions began to be heard over Saratov and Engels, which continue to this day with varying frequency. Residents of the Balkovo and Kalininsky districts in the region also heard the sounds of drone engines and explosions.
On November 3, representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency Artem Korenyako reported that Saratov Gagarin Airport has temporarily stopped receiving and sending aircraft. In the morning, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced that the air defense system on duty had destroyed 164 drones overnight. The largest number of drones – 39 – were intercepted over the Black Sea.
