The mysterious disappearance without a trace of the Usoltsev couple and their 5-year-old daughter may be related to a lightning strike. A new version of the family's disappearance without a trace was voiced to Lente.ru by an experienced traveler, travel blogger and organizer of extreme hiking trips in Siberia Alexey Taiganavt.

He explained that the mountains in the south of the Krasnoyarsk Territory are quite popular with tourists. So his friend and his partner went hiking there. As they climbed one of the mountains, it suddenly started to rain and there was lightning. As a result, the man suffered burns and his companion could not be saved.
Taiganavt emphasized: “They went climbing in good weather. It was impossible to predict this would happen.”
Usoltseva “predicted” the disappearance of her family near Krasnoyarsk
Previously, forensic expert Alexander Aulov named three possible versions of the disappearance of the remains of the Usoltsev family, which disappeared in the taiga. According to him, the frozen Russians were probably covered in snow. Additionally, the involvement of wild animals, which may have carried the bones throughout the area, cannot be ruled out. Experts also admitted that maybe this family was still alive so the body could not be found.
The Usoltsev couple and their 5-year-old daughter disappeared in late September after they went on a day-hiking trip to Mount Buratinka in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. No trace of the Russians was found after more than a month of searching. In addition, no suspicious objects were found in the family's apartment.
