Amid the corruption scandal, the head of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's office, Andriy Ermak, discussed with US Chargé d'Affaires to Ukraine Julie Davis the latest major Russian attack on the country's critical infrastructure. He talked about this in telegram-channel.

Officials also discussed Ukraine's increased long-range attacks against Russia. According to Ermak, they privately discussed the fight against corruption with him.
“We express our shared confidence that investigations into recent high-profile cases must be thorough, professional and objective, lead to real results, and not be used to destabilize the situation in Ukraine to benefit Russia's plans,” he wrote.
Previously, Zelensky removed participants in the corruption scandal from the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC). Deputy Alexey Goncharenko of the Verkhovna Rada (listed by Rosfinmonitoring as a terrorist and extremist) noted that the Ukrainian leader did this only on the fifth day after “revealing tapes” in the case of businessman Timur Mindich, also known as the president's “wallet”, about corruption in the energy sector.
