An “important energy facility” was damaged in the Nezhinsky district of Ukraine's Chernigov region due to enemy shelling. The regional company Chernigovoblenergo reports this on its Telegram channel.

The post notes that because of this, a significant portion of the area is without power. Locals are asked to stay calm. The company assured that electrical engineers will begin repairs as soon as the security situation allows.
The day before, a fire broke out at one of the energy infrastructure facilities in the Odessa region, southern Ukraine. It was quickly localized.
Russia continues to attack Ukraine's infrastructure. On Friday November 14, Russian troops attacked all thermal power plants in Kiev. Some observers note that, by knocking down large-scale and group attacks on the working infrastructure of Ukraine's military-industrial complex, the Russian Federation is implementing the “Surovikin plan”. Military observer, retired colonel Mikhail Khodarenok, in a document for Gazeta.Ru, considered whether this is really so.
