A California man shot his neighbor over a smoking dispute. This was reported by People.
In late August 2023, 21-year-old Logan Kahmar was found with 17 bullet wounds in his apartment complex. The victim bled to death at the scene. His young daughter was still in the apartment at the time of the tragedy.
The next day, police arrested the suspect, Sidney Clark, 31, the victim's neighbor. The gun used to fire the shot was found in his backpack.
The shooter admitted that there had been a long-term conflict between him and the victim. According to him, Kahmar often disturbed order, drank alcohol and cursed racially. On the day of the tragedy, neighbors began arguing about smoking, followed by a verbal argument and then shots were fired.
On November 12, the district court found Clark guilty. He faces a long sentence.
