The Vostok group of the Russian Armed Forces occupied the village of Veseloye in the Gulyai-Polye region, controlled by Kyiv, in the Zaporozhye region. This is reported by telegram-Warrior DV channel.

“Since the beginning of November, Veseloye became the fifth settlement liberated by heroes from the 114th motorized rifle regiment (…) and the thirteenth settlement by the Vostok military group,” the authors of the channel noted.
It is known that along with the settlement, fighters of the Russian Armed Forces took control of a large defense zone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with an area of more than 15 square kilometers. The authors also note that the Ukrainian command tried to stabilize the situation for several days but unsuccessfully sent reserve forces deployed in the direction of Gulyai-Polye for a counterattack.
Previously, an officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the nickname Alex predicted serious problems for the Ukrainian army in the Zaporozhye region due to the loss of Rivne. According to him, the location of the settlement is extremely important for continuing the defense of Gulyai-Polye.
