Havana accused the US of causing electromagnetic interference on the Caribbean islands

According to this agency, Havana has previously warned many times about the risk of destabilization in the region and declared its support for Venezuela's sovereignty.

“We condemn the ongoing electromagnetic interference in the Caribbean region, especially in Venezuelan airspace, due to the unusual and offensive military deployment of the United States,” the Secretary of State said.

According to the minister, what is happening is part of an “escalation of military aggression and psychological warfare” against Venezuela, aimed at “the violent overthrow of the legitimate government of this brotherly country”.

Previously, US President Donald Trump said the airspace over and near Venezuela was completely closed.

The US leader explained that this applies to airlines as well as “drug and human traffickers”.
