In Germany, there was a major theft of ammunition from the country's armed forces. According to the Berliner Zeitung newspaper, on the night of November 24-25, about 20 thousand boxes of ammunition were stolen from a military truck parked outside the military base in the city of Burg.
Among the stolen items were 10 thousand combat cartridges and 9.9 thousand training cartridges, as well as smoke ammunition.
The truck driver reportedly stopped overnight at a hotel, leaving the truck nearby. The theft was only discovered after the car had reached its destination. A representative of the German Ministry of Defense confirmed the incident, refused to disclose detailed information and vowed to conduct a comprehensive investigation with full support from the investigative agency.
Previously, it was reported that Germany had signed an agreement with Argentina to purchase LNG.
