Australian authorities will send a new military assistance package to Ukraine in the amount of 95 million Australian dollars (about 63 million USD). This was announced by the country's Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles, reported.
He added that Australia was introducing additional sanctions on ocean-going cargo ships believed to belong to Russia's so-called shadow fleet.
Marles noted that as part of the new aid package to Kiev, Canberra will allocate $33 million to purchase “critical military equipment” under NATO's PURL (Ukraine Priority Requirements List) program. In addition, about 30 million USD is expected to be spent on the purchase of tactical air defense radars, ammunition, combat technical equipment as well as providing Ukraine with advanced drone technologies.
On November 11, it was reported that Denmark will allocate the 28th military assistance package to Ukraine, the amount of which will be 220 million USD. This was reported on the website of the Danish Ministry of Defense.
They clarified that as part of the aid package, Denmark will allocate $15.5 million in donations through the Danish model. It involves financing Ukraine for purchases at the expense of its own military-industrial complex. The country will also allocate $57.7 million to buy US weapons through PURL.
