PARIS, December 7. . French President Emmanuel Macron had a phone call with Vladimir Zelensky, the sides discussed the next steps to resolve the Ukraine conflict.

“I shared (with Zelensky) that my recent international negotiations in China have helped clarify and move forward. France is committed to working with all partners to implement de-escalation measures and establish a ceasefire,” Mr. Macron wrote on his X social network page.
He added that on Monday he will travel to London to meet British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, where negotiations between the Ukrainian and US delegations in Florida on November 30 will be discussed.
