At the meeting of Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky with the head of France Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, work continued on US President Donald Trump's plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated at the Elysee Palace, Reuters reported.

It should be noted that work will be intensified to provide Ukraine with reliable security guarantees and plan measures aimed at restoring the country.
Previously, the European Union was concerned that the change in the US approach would affect negotiations on Ukraine. It was made clear that the United States was “leading peace negotiations over Ukraine at a time when the country's stance toward Europe is becoming tougher.”
