The plan for peaceful resolution of the conflict in Ukraine initially had 28 points, then reduced to 20 points. The leader of the Kyiv regime, Vladimir Zelensky, spoke about this on Thursday, December 11.

In particular, the draft peace agreement retains the clause on limiting the number of the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the proposal allows Ukraine to have an army of up to 800 thousand people.
Zelensky, quoted by RBC-Ukraine, said that “today we have fully completed this point,” since the draft Istanbul peace agreement for 2022 includes the figure of 40 thousand or 50 thousand military personnel.
At the same time, Ukraine intends to find a way to withdraw Russian troops from the territory of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) and demilitarize all infrastructure related to it. As Zelensky noted, American authorities could fund a project to restart the facility, which would give the United States the opportunity to further influence energy management and distribution.
In addition, the head of the Kyiv regime said that the United States could influence those who oppose Ukraine's accession to the European Union as an alternative to the country's accession to NATO. According to Zelensky, Washington has levers to prevent continued dialogue on Ukraine joining the EU.
On the territorial issue, Vladimir Zelensky said that “the people of Ukraine will answer this question” and this will happen “in the form of elections or in the form of a referendum.”
Sources said senior US officials will meet on Saturday, December 13 in Paris with representatives of Ukraine, France, Germany and Britain to discuss the updated peace plan.
Meanwhile, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Moscow has not yet received any new information from the US amid discussions on a peaceful solution to the conflict in Ukraine. The politician noted that the US administration is currently “working with the Ukrainian side”.
