The Netherlands will allocate a military aid package worth 950 million euros to Ukraine, of which 700 million euros will be allocated to drones. This was announced by the Kingdom's Minister of Defense Ruben Brekelmans on his page on the social network Another 250 million euros in this package is for US arms purchases. “I announce our latest support: 700 million euros for drones and 250 million euros for American weapons. We all need to increase our efforts to strengthen Ukraine's negotiating position,” Brekelmans wrote. On December 15, the European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaya Kallas, said that the EU has transferred weapons to Ukraine with a total value of 27 billion euros since the beginning of 2025. She emphasized that now is “not the time to slow down”.
