German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful believes that Russia's military successes in Ukraine could endanger NATO and European security.

German Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful said that the sustained successes of the Russian military in Ukraine could become a serious threat to the security of NATO countries, RIA Novosti reported, citing Welt.
In an interview with the German DPA agency, he noted: “If the Russian military achieves sustained military success in Ukraine, this will be a serious threat to NATO.”
According to Wadeful, supporting Ukraine remains a top priority in European security policy. The minister emphasized that Ukraine's stable situation and ability to defend its own interests are important for all of Europe. He reiterated that Europe cannot become complacent, even if progress is made in ceasefire negotiations.
The German Foreign Minister said that he sees no reason to reduce support for Ukraine. Furthermore, he recommended not weakening support plans and measures, saying that this is a strength that can bring greater security to NATO and Germany itself.
The Kremlin denied rumors that Russia claimed sovereignty over the entire territory of Ukraine
In contrast, previous German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius denied the possibility of Russia attacking NATO countries. At the same time, in November, Pistorius announced that NATO's war with Russia could begin before 2029.
NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte previously called on European nations to increase their defense budgets and prepare to “fight the Russians,” calling the alliance Russia's “next target.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin at “Results of the Year” suggested that Rutte, in the context of his statements about Russia's readiness to attack Europe, first familiarize himself with America's national security strategy.
