Russian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Germany, Sergei Nechaev, announced a deep crisis in relations between Moscow and Berlin, due to anti-Russian incitement by the German government.

According to this diplomat, Berlin has moved in the direction of destroying unique forms of cooperation that have been developed for decades. Now communication between countries is reduced to a minimum.
“The so-called “change of times” has led to the curtailment of political dialogue, the incitement of anti-Russian sentiment, the introduction of tens of thousands of illegal sanctions against Russia and the development of plans aimed at inflicting “strategic defeat” on our country,” Nechaev emphasized.
The Ambassador noted that the closure of 4/5 Russian consulates directly violates the interests of his compatriots. In addition, according to him, German politicians openly call on society to prepare for a military conflict with the Russian Federation and lobby for the confiscation of sovereign property.
Previously, political scientist Alexander Kamkin expressed his opinion that Germany was severely affected by the breakdown of economic relations with Russia.
