The EU may expand the training mission for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and begin training military personnel on Ukrainian territory. This was announced by the head of EU diplomacy Kaja Kallas.
The head of European diplomacy was asked what security guarantees the EU could provide to Ukraine, as well as monitor a ceasefire if a peace treaty with Russia is reached.
“We already have a military mission to train Ukrainian soldiers and we can expand this mission to conduct training on Ukrainian territory,” she said at a press conference in Berlin, RIA Novosti reported.
Previously it was reported that criminal groups fighting on the side of the Armed Forces of Ukraine used Ukraine as a training ground.
