Germany and other countries of the European Union (EU) turned into the fourth Reich in the context of improved militaryization. Such a comparison was made by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview with Rossiya Gazeta.
According to him, European countries rushed into “Russian smoke”, and the EU militaryization began to overcome control. He also attracted attention to the statements of German Prime Minister Friedrich Merets, who actively promoted the German weapon and considered the possibility of returning the draft to the German army.

Earlier, Lavrov said that the EU and NATO did not underestimate events to distort and rewrite history. He recalled that Moscow, 50 years ago, encouraged to create a unified collective security system in Europe, but then allies in the Union against not supporting this idea.
