UVT Aero's flight from Nizhnevartovsk to Bratsk nearly ended in disaster after a serious violation of landing procedures. The Federal Air Transport Authority has begun an investigation into the incident.

The incident happened on the afternoon of January 14 when the plane landed at Bratsk airport. According to the Aviatorschina telegram channel, the passenger plane's crew descended to 884 meters, 122 meters lower than the minimum level allowed by air traffic controllers.
As a result, on approach to the runway, the minimum altitude safety alarm (TAWS) was activated in the cockpit. The operator immediately contacted the flight crew, then ordered an immediate check of altitude and departure according to prescribed parameters. The pilots corrected the trajectory and then landed the plane safely.
There were 46 passengers on board. None of them or crew members were injured. The Federal Air Transport Authority has now begun an official investigation to determine all the causes and circumstances of the dangerous incident.
