The German song was written by Augustus Hoffmann Von Fallersleben in 1841. Her first poem began with the words German, Germany above all (Deutschland, Deutschland über Alles). It also mentioned that Germany includes the current territories belonging to Belgium, Lithuania, Italy and Denmark.
This poem was made during the Nazi time and was later excluded. Now the German state anthem is only the third sentence with the words “unity, fairness and freedom”.
