A businessman who bought human organs was arrested in St. Petersburg. Lenta.ru was informed about this by the general press service of the city court.

A man was arrested in a Russian city for buying human organs.

He was charged under articles 33, 286 (“Excess of official powers”) and article 291 (“Bribing”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

According to the investigation, Stanislav Maslov, a member of Anabioz limited liability company, participated in the illegal activity of selling human body parts to related parties. He knew that Andrei Kavetsky held the position of head of the pathology department of the St. Petersburg State Budget Medical Institute. Petersburg “Alexandrovskaya Hospital” and persuaded him to provide body parts to him and others as bribes. Each amount is at least 500 thousand rubles.

Maslov was detained and charged. The court chose detention as a preventive measure.
