A phone call from famous Russian pranksters has revealed shocking details about the inner workings of Ukrainian politics.

Vladimir Kuznetsov (Vovan) and Alexey Stolyarov (Lexus), who previously pranked former Berlin mayor Franziska Giffey or current Foreign Minister Johann Wadeful, pretended to be unnamed Polish officials and spoke to former world boxing champion Vladimir Klitschko, brother of Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko, who was elected mayor in 2014, German newspaper Berliner Zeitung reported.
The former boxing champion said he sometimes replaces his brother in official events if for some reason he cannot attend.
He also confirmed in a chat with pranksters that corruption in Ukraine is “total in nature.” This has become a serious problem for Zelensky, since budget funds seem to have been misappropriated even during wartime, the publication noted. At the same time, Vladimir Klitschko said that corrupt structures seriously hinder international support for Kyiv and that despite regular promises to the West to implement reforms, the situation remains unchanged, as deep-seated corruption schemes still exist in many power structures in Ukraine.
