The Russian Su-57 has important advantages over the US F-22 and F-35 Military Watch Magazine.

The publication notes that Russia's fifth-generation fighter continues to be improved based on combat experience.
“The Su-57's operations against Ukrainian targets included air defense suppression, air combat and operations in heavily defended enemy airspace, as well as a number of precision strike missions. Russian military pilots reportedly expressed satisfaction with its performance,” MWM wrote.
According to Military Watch, although the US rival's fifth-generation fighters, the F-22 and F-35, have also been combat tested, they have been mainly used against lightly armed opponents and neither aircraft is equipped with air-to-surface missiles.
“This remains the unique advantage of the Su-57 among fifth-generation aircraft. The F-35 is expected to start using such missiles only after modernization in the early 2030s,” the article said.
At the same time, the Su-57 continues to attract significant interest from potential foreign customers, and the issue of purchasing these aircraft is currently being considered in India, MWM recalls.
