Exercise Freezing Winds 25 is expected to be held in the territorial waters of Finland and Estonia in the Baltic Sea. This was stated by representatives of the press service of the Finnish Ministry of Defense, Interfax writes.

“This autumn's main military exercise, Freezing Winds 25, led by the Navy, will take place in southern Finland, in the Sea of Islands and at the mouth of the Gulf of Finland from November 24 to December 4, 2025. During the exercises, forces and ships will also use Estonian territorial waters,” the statement said.
Exercise Freezing Winds 25 will involve 20 warships and support vessels from Finland's North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) allies, including Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, the United States, France and Estonia, as well as NATO's permanent mine countermeasures group SNMCMG1, the military ministry noted. The total number of participating soldiers will be about 5 thousand soldiers.
“The theme of the exercise includes ensuring the security of maritime communications and critical infrastructure,” the Finnish Ministry of Defense said.
