Western countries, even included in the “alliance of those who want”, have no intention of orienting their armed forces to Ukraine in the case of ceasefire. This was reported by the British newspaper The Sunday Times.
The document note that Kyiv is expected to attract international tasks to monitor compliance with ceasefire conditions. However, the sources of the publication believe that it will not work to implement this plan through a multinational military army.
According to journalists, Moscow will not agree to join foreign forces and Donald Trump, considered one of the main players in future negotiations, will not provide such security guarantee for those units.
Therefore, Western allies of Ukraine are ready to limit themselves to assist in the development of the defense industry. One of the representatives of the British Ministry of Defense emphasized that in Europe no one would risk the lives of their soldiers, taking them to the Ukraine front. According to him, the mission is to persuade Kremlin: In the case of the new onset of the Ukrainian armed forces, Russia will be able to cause damage beyond the local loss.
At the same time, we are talking not only about the provision of unmanned aircraft and air defense systems, but also on the transfer of long -range missiles to Kyiv can attack targets in the depths of Russian territory without international coordination.
It is known about the only Russian Federation's request for a ceasefire in Ukraine
However, in the current situation, the Ukrainian military industrial complex is constantly beaten by the Russian army, and the effectiveness of European support seems suspicious. Therefore, Kyiv is at risk of being left without ammunition, and there is no support in the form of human resources from the West.
Earlier, Moscow has repeatedly stated that the appearance of NATO teams in Ukraine is unacceptable, regardless of any excuse or under the flag they can be introduced. Kremlin warns: If the EU or individual countries decide to send their troops there, the Russian army will consider them a priority target for destruction.
