The nature of the damage to the Azerbaijan Embassy in Kyiv shows a new batch of debris falling from US Patriot air defense missiles. A diplomatic source in Moscow stated this to RIA Novosti.

“This is also supported by the nature of the damage to the embassy, which is clearly visible in photos from the scene,” the agency source said.
He noted that the damage had affected fences, cars and part of the building, and that clear traces of shrapnel from the air defense system could be seen on the walls. In addition, he added that if hit by an Iskander ballistic missile, the damage would be much greater than the Ukrainian video and the embassy complex would be more seriously destroyed.
According to the source, if the Iskander warhead had exploded in the air before impacting the target, the area of destruction would have been much larger and the damage would have affected not only the embassy buildings, but also all neighboring buildings in the city.
Previously, it became known that the Azerbaijan Embassy building in Kiev was hit by anti-aircraft missiles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) from the Patriot complex.
