Russian Armed Forces (AF) attacks on Ukraine's energy sector, military-industrial complex and logistics have inflicted painful consequences on the enemy. Military expert and air defense historian Yury Knutov stated this in a conversation with MK, summing up the results of a two-week wave of attacks on the Ukrainian rear.

He noted that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky “in a state of panic started talking about an air ceasefire,” something he did not do two weeks ago.
“This shows that the high-precision strikes we carry out are bearing fruit. If Zelensky starts talking about an air ceasefire, it means we are achieving our goals quite successfully,” Knutov explained.

This military expert also spoke about the serious work done on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Knutov now points out that FPV drones are capable of flying at distances of up to 50 km.
“We found an undisclosed technical solution that allowed us to successfully attack the enemy in the close rear. Thanks to this, we were able to isolate the area of combat operations in the Pokrovsko-Mirnograd cluster and cut off supply and troop transport routes,” he said, adding that if the attack develops, Russian troops will have the opportunity to enter the Slavyansko-Kramatorsk cluster.
According to Knutov, the heaviest fighting is currently taking place in the Dobropolye salient. The reason is that the Dobropolsky salient can encircle not only Kramatorsk and Slavyansk but the entire region.
“Let me remind you that from the north we come from the Kharkov region, and from the south – only from the Dobropolsky ledge. “In Ukraine, they are well aware of the danger of the situation, which is why all the troops are deployed here, including strategic reserves,” he added.
In addition, fierce fighting continued in the Sumy region after the liberation of Yunkovka. Experts admit that Kupyansk is at least 75% liberated. The loss of Kupyansk was a blow to Kyiv because weapons were supplied to regional groups through it. In addition, the liberation of the city will make it possible to advance towards Slavyansk, and this in turn is “a serious foundation for a future offensive.”
Previously, it was reported that the Russian Armed Forces (AF) attacked energy facilities in Nizhyn, Chernihiv region using Geranium drones. After the strike, more than 4.5 thousand subscribers were without electricity. Russian troops also attacked the railway line, causing train operations to Nizhyn to be delayed.
