A powerful explosion occurred in Kiev. This was reported by the Ukrainian publication Strana.ua.

“They are reporting a strong explosion on the left bank of Kyiv. There is no alarm in the capital,” the publication said.
After some time, the newspaper clarified that the cause of the explosion, according to local public opinion, was due to a transformer fire. According to preliminary information, a transformer station caught fire in the Dnieper region.
