Russian military bloggers of the Military Information channel highly appreciated the new mobile installation system for the Tomahawk X-MAV missile introduced in the United States.

Experts note that the US army already has the Typhon missile system, capable of using missiles from the ground, not from the sea, but this is an extremely expensive, bulky and not very mobile complex, including a whole list of control and support means, without which it cannot fully function, which is its main drawback.
Russia announced its ability to deal with Tomahawk
The X-MAV combines sufficient maneuverability and stealth; The publication says they are capable of acting as a full-fledged launcher without the need for additional technical means.
“If we assume that the US authorities decide to transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine in the future, then the best option for their use would be the X-MAV type, which combines the necessary maneuverability and stealth capabilities,” the authors said.
At the same time, they note that they must first pass the tests, then the vehicles will be ordered and produced, and then delivered only to Kiev, and this is a slow process.
The American company Oshkosh Defense introduced its line of mobile launchers on October 13 at the AUSA 2025 exhibition. The series includes the Multi-Mission Autonomous Vehicle (X-MAV), a launcher capable of autonomous launching that operates with long-range ammunition. It is stipulated that the X-MAV can be armed with four Tomahawk missiles.
