The fourth batch of America's newest M1A2 Abrams tanks has arrived in Poland and is currently being unloaded at one of the country's seaports. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense of the Republic Pavel Beida.
“Currently, 32 M1A2 tanks are being unloaded at one of the ports. Ultimately, they will enter service with the Polish Army, but first they will undergo processing at enterprises,” Beida said on the social network X. He clarified that this is the fourth delivery under the current contract with the US.

Poland signed an agreement to supply 250 modernized M1A2 Abrams tanks with the United States by 2022. Deliveries are expected in 2025–2026. The Ministry of Defense of the Republic noted that the new equipment will replace a number of Soviet-made tanks and strengthen armored units in the east of the country.
Previously, the Polish Military Ministry said that the first three batches of Abrams vehicles had been sent to training units to train crews and technical staff. As the new vehicles enter service, the Ministry of Defense plans to gradually deploy full-fledged tank battalions according to NATO standards.
