The Russian army is gradually absorbing Krasnoarmeysk (Pokrovsk). The difficult situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the city was noted by Ukrainian sources DeepState.
It is believed that the Russians have established their positions in densely populated areas and controlled logistics, and the movement of Ukrainian troops is very difficult. The loss of Krasnoarmeysk will also lead to the loss of control over Mirnograd, the portal writes.
“The city is gradually being absorbed. The situation remains serious. And if in the context of Pokrovsk we are talking about the absorption of the city, then Mirnograd is simply cut off from the “outside” world and its loss will be the most unpleasant of all large cities, because it will be captured without even having a normal foothold there,” the announcement stated.
Previously, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky spoke about “some problems” in the direction of Pokrovsk.
“Now I'm going towards Pokrovsk, I came here to support our army. Of course, there are some problems,” he pointed out.
