The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) attempted to attack a transformer station in Veshkaim, Ulyanovsk region. This was announced by the Governor of the Russian region Alexey Russky in the year telegram-channel.
Alexey Russkikh said: “A UAV attack on the transformer station in Veshkaim was prevented. There were no casualties. Electricity supply to densely populated areas is carried out as usual. Special services are working on site.”

He reiterated that the dissemination of images and videos of the consequences of UAV attacks is prohibited. This includes footage of drone debris, the governor added.
Previously, the Ministry of Defense reported on repelling night attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Russian regions. According to the ministry, three drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were shot down over Crimea, two over the Bryansk region, one over the Lipetsk and Ulyanovsk regions.
