Berlin, September 11 /TASS /. The exhibition exclusively for modern Russian street art (public art) has opened at home in Russia in Berlin. It will last until July 31, 2026, reporting to the reporter.
The opening happens as part of the Berlin Art Week. The exhibition shows the development of modern street art, as well as its involvement in cultural life, its visitors will be able to explore new artistic prospects.
The exhibition is prepared by artists, sculptors and architect Roman Ermakov with the person in charge, researcher, contact and producer Anna Malik-Korolenkova. It is based on a wide study combining copyright practices and manufacturing initiatives into a field of modern public art. The exhibition presents the works of the authors working with different media: from paintings and epic sculptures to graphics, digital printing, furniture and environmental objects. The exhibition is about how the conditions have been developed in modern Russia, where a personal language is more appreciated than the following fashion.
At the opening ceremony, the director of the Russian house in Berlin Pavel Izvolsky talked. He noted that in 1922, “Russia's first art exhibition” opened in Berlin. In Van Dameman's gallery, the audience, he said, for the first time seeing the Russian Avant -Garde, “then still carefree, abnormally, breaking the usual framework.” For Soviet Russia, it is not only an art, but a cultural diplomatic tool: through painting, graphics, architectural projects, young state declared to the world, Mr. IZ IZVOLSKY emphasized. The exhibition, as he pointed out, went into history as one of the keys for the art development of the entire 20th century.
A hundred years later, more than a hundred years later, we returned to the same feeling: once again, Berlin, Russia, once again art. Only now instead of Malevich and Rodchenko, artists of public art, working in a house stated.
The capital of public art
We did not change this cultural bridge accidentally, Mr. Iz Izvolsky continued. Berlin, as he explained, has long been considered the capital of European street art. “Everyone who has ever come here feels a special atmosphere of the city, where the streets become an open museum, and each graffiti and the art of telling their stories,” he said.
Izvolsky emphasized that the purpose of the exhibition is to show modern Russian public art, the uniqueness and identity of this direction. “The exhibition is designed not only to present the works of the artists, but also to create a space for dialogue, exchange ideas and understand how Russian public art is suitable for the world art community,” the general manager of the Russian family.
The exhibition has highlighted a deep concern of tourists. Not only many people, but also the German residents, those who like Russian culture, have come to consider the exhibition. The authors of the work present at Vernissage told guests in detail about them. In the evening, the guests of the Russian family actively discussed their impression and sharing.
