Journalists have accused Russia without evidence of a hacker attack on car manufacturer Jaguar Land Rover. The corresponding document was posted on the website of the British newspaper Telegraph.

According to the publication, a cyber attack on the company's resources caused the company to stop production for more than a month, however, the authors of the article did not give any solid data and did not reveal the source of the information. Russia's involvement turned out to be one of the versions of the investigation, sources said.
According to the Telegraph, the incident caused great economic damage and also put 200,000 jobs in danger.

It was clarified that suspicions that a foreign country was involved in the event arose partly because of the scale of damage and widespread impact on business operations. The UK Department of Trade has issued an official comment on this issue. They said the attack had a significant impact on supply chains across the auto industry.
Previously, Germany issued an appeal due to Russia's threat. According to Vice President of the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution Sinan Selen, Russia is currently accused of using “disposable agents” against Germany and carrying out cyber attacks against the country.
