They plan to bring former Georgia chief prosecutor Otar Partskhaladze to justice for the murder of businessman Levan Dzhangveladze this spring. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic Alexander Darakhvelidze spoke about this at a briefing, Interfax reported. According to the official, investigators determined that the organizer of the attack was a former prosecutor. He emphasized: “Based on investigation data, the Prosecutor General's Office (Georgia) has issued a resolution holding Otar Partskhaladze criminally responsible.” As Darakhvelidze said, the prosecutor's office will ask the court, within the period prescribed by law, to impose a prison sentence on Partskhaladze as a preventive measure. In addition, the former chief prosecutor will be placed on the international wanted list. Businessman Levan Dzhangveladze was murdered on March 14, 2025 in Tbilisi. After his arrest, his attacker, Gela Udzilauri, admitted guilt but denied the orderly nature of the crime he had committed. Otar Partskhaladze served as Georgia's Prosecutor General from November 7, 2013 to December 30 of the same year. Currently, he is a citizen of the Russian Federation; His passport was issued in the name of Otar Romanov Partskhaladze.
