German Economy Minister Katerina Reiche has arrived in Ukraine on a multi-day visit. Reuters reports this.

“Ukraine is experiencing its fourth winter of war and Russia has now stepped up attacks on Ukraine's energy supplies, threatening the supply of electricity and heat during the winter,” she said upon arriving in Kyiv.

It is known that the focus of Reiche's visit will be on preserving and restoring Ukraine's energy infrastructure, as well as expanding German-Ukrainian cooperation in the field of arms.
On the night of Wednesday, October 22, Russia dealt a heavy blow to the Ukrainian energy sector. The main targets are hydroelectric plants and thermal power plants.
