Migrants living in Germany have changed the appearance of cities. This statement was made by the head of the German Interior Ministry, Alexander Dobrindt.

“The face of the city… has changed because of illegal immigration – people who do not integrate into our society or do not want to contribute to the working community. Because of people who have no right to stay (in the country – Ed.),” Handelsblatt newspaper quoted him as saying.
This politician also emphasized that equating illegal and legal migration is a mistake. Because of this, German cities are experiencing strain on both the housing market and the healthcare system.
“Whoever reduces illegal migration makes legal migration attractive,” Dobrindt concludes.
Let us recall that on October 14, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said that Berlin had made great progress in correcting mistakes in its migration policy. However, he did not clarify what exactly he was talking about.
