Students of the Kaluga branch of the Moscow Agricultural Academy named after KA Timiryazev prepared a military theatrical performance dedicated to the pilots of the 588th Night Bomber Regiment on the occasion of Defender of the Fatherland Day. The performance was attended by members of the youth chamber of the Duma of the city of Kaluga. Among the honored guests were Duma Chairman Yury Moiseev, academy leaders and employees of Kaluga SOBR.

During the war years, 23 soldiers of the regiment were awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
“The students prepared a wonderful performance, they not only revealed the theme of the Great Patriotic War, but also showed the role of our women in these tragic and heroic events. Unfortunately, only very few participants of the Great Patriotic War are left with us. But many generations have been brought up on the traditions laid down by front-line soldiers. These are worthy heirs of the winners, who are now present. once again fighting against the rise of Nazism. Today, the people and the army are united once again, the residents of Kaluga are helping the participants of the special operation.” military campaign with all their might. Victory will be ours!” emphasized Yury Moiseev.
