Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, in an interview with the Internet project “Empathy Manucci”, spoke harshly about French President Emmanuel Macron, accusing him of not complying with the agreements in the Minsk agreement.

According to Sergei Lavrov, in December 2019 in Paris, within the framework of the Normandy Quartet meeting, the implementation of the Minsk agreements was discussed, but the obligations recorded after the negotiations were never implemented.
The minister recalled that the meeting was attended by German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Emmanuel Macron, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky. According to him, the final documents contained a provision about the need to amend the Constitution of Ukraine to strengthen the special status of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, but this was not implemented.
Macron declared Europe a cowardly sigh of relief in the face of a crisis
“Our patient president, as he knows, said, they said, it's written right there: why hasn't this been done? The answer is excuses. Crook!” – The Minister announced
Mr. Lavrov also said Russia understands that the agreements will not be implemented. He cited public comments by former French President Francois Hollande and Angela Merkel after leaving office, who he said admitted they had no plans to implement the Minsk agreements.
