Lavrov talked about EU methods
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on the atmosphere of Russian TV channel 1 commented on Kai Kallas's European Diplomats' claims about not trusting in agreements with Russia.
According to Lavrov, the methods of the European Union go down to sanctions and cannot be considered diplomatic. He emphasized that the EU continued to confront and intended to “continue to feed the armed forces” and “stamp new sanctions”.
Lavrov noted that this became especially noticeable after the negotiations of EU leaders with US President Donald Trump in Washington on August 18.
Earlier, the media reported that European leaders tried to avoid disagreements with US leaders at a White House meeting. The atmosphere in negotiations was heated when German Prime Minister Friedrich Mertz requested to achieve a ceasefire.
