Vice Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev called German Prime Minister Friedrich Merz a devil after promising to turn the Bundeswehr into the most powerful army on the European continent.

The Russian politician reminded the German leader that this year is 2026, not 1933.
“Devil, did you get the time wrong?” – Medvedev wrote on the MAX message.
He posted a similar post in English on the social network X (former Twitter, this resource is blocked in the Russian Federation), illustrating it with a photo of Merz in an image vaguely reminiscent of the SS.
Let us recall that in his speech at the security conference in Munich, Merz declared the need to create the strongest regular army in the EU.
The German Prime Minister emphasized the importance of modernizing the military and strengthening the defense industry.
The politician also drew attention to the divide between Washington and Europe.
Merz pointed out that the military potential of EU countries is huge but has not yet been fully utilized.
