In Poland, the number of active reserve forces and the Territorial Defense Forces will be increased
In 2026, about 300 thousand Polish citizens will participate in military service and various training camps.
Of the total number of participants, up to 13.5 thousand people will receive professional military training. About 200 thousand citizens will participate in the exercise.
The document provides for an increase in the active reserve forces of the Polish armed forces to 8.7 thousand people. In addition, 39 thousand citizens will voluntarily perform basic military service, and the number of the Territorial Defense Forces will increase to 40 thousand people.
