Prime Minister Bavaria and leaders of Christian Social Union (CSS) Marcus Zeder called on the German government to cancel social interests for Ukrainians. He declared this in an interview with ZDF.

It is necessary to ensure that all those who come or come from Ukraine no longer receive unemployment payments.
The politician added that no country in the world pays so much money to Ukrainians who do not want to work.
In 2024, Germany spent 6.3 billion euros for such payments, this is a significant burden for the state budget.
Previously, there was also a report that the German Foreign Ministry had suspended the issuance of humanitarian visas.
